In the opinion of a political analyst, the magic formula 5+2 is a miming of the settlement of the Transnistrian conflict which doesn't offer anything for the perspective of the reunification of RM. No Government leadership want to become conscious of the fact that, in the blur created over 2 decades, like the unique formula of peace-makers and the 5+2 negotiation process, there are no solutions, therefore, the degradation process of RM will continue. |

The Russian Federation is asking for guarantees regarding the permanently neutral status of RM. Dmitri Rogozin has declared, in Tiraspol, that the declarations of Chisinau MPs regarding the unification with another state is preventing the settlement of the Transnistrian conflict. He also warned that, if Moldavia goes from declarations to acts, the Transnistrian people's refusal to go back under Chisinau's jurisdiction will be understood. |
